Campaign 2018-2019

The 2018-2019 campaign for the National State Orchestra of Athens, oldest orchestral musical ensemble in Greece, is an artistic exploration of the parallel between music and nature, or more specifically the musician and its instrument.

We acquired a clear and neat approach in capturing the essence of the idea, basing the graphic style on a Swiss grid and a contemporary font (Sporting Grotesk from Velvetyne Type Foundry), and by creating digital collages that visualise the concept in a sort of anatomical study. This way, the eye-popping images gained the space and attention to become an iconic campaign.


Nature, the primordial origin of man and all his creative expressions, is contained within musical instruments; through the work of composers and musicians, archetypes of nature rise anew in all their majesty. Hence, the instruments become means of reconnecting the public to the grandness of nature through a journey of beauty and rediscovery.


A core part of the campaign are a series of animated posters, which extend further the opportunity for the public to getting involved into a visual exploration of music, and teasing it in wanting to experience more.

The slogan that accompanies the campaign captures the concept and a sense of collective inclusion: ‘‘IT ΙS IN OUR NATURE’.
